TOPCHIRO
Initial consultation
Your first visit is focused on you. At TOPCHIRO – Greenville, we have designed our consultation to establish a clear baseline of your health and understand how your spine and nervous system are functioning. Using advanced technology, we gather precise and measurable insights specific to you.
- Infrared Thermography – measure nervous system activity and identify areas of imbalance or stress in real time.
- Neurological Assessment – to evaluate neurologic patterns, nerve function, and how your brain communicates with your body.
- Functional Neck Assessment (NeckCare) – to evaluate movement patterns, joint function, and your structure is affecting your functional movement.
- 3D Cone-Beam CT Imaging (CBCT) – when necessary, it allows us to see a clearer view of your spine and surrounding structures in detailed three dimensions, giving us clarity far beyond traditional imaging.
These tools help us establish a baseline of your structural and neurological function, allowing us to personalize your care with accuracy.
After your assessment, you’ll receive a Report of Findings. During this appointment, we walk through all the information with you in clear, understandable terms. We’ll explain what your results mean, answer your questions, and work with you to develop personalized care designed to support your health and help you achieve real outcomes.
TOPCHIRO
Regular Visits
During your regular visits, the focus is on checking how your spine and nervous system function. We use tools such as infrared thermography, postural indicators, and leg length balance to assess how you have responded to the corrections. If a misalignment is identified on that visit, a gentle and specific adjustment is provided, followed by a brief period of rest. After resting, we repeat our assessments to confirm that the correction has been successfully achieved.
This detailed process ensures we’re always providing the right care at the right time and that your body is able to adapt and stabilize with support.
TOPCHIRO
Computed Infrared Thermography
Infrared thermography provides accurate, real-time insight into how your nervous system is functioning. By identifying patterns of stress or imbalance within the body, this technology helps us determine when an adjustment is needed and when it is not. This ensures care is delivered at the right time, supporting appropriate corrections and allowing the body to function more freely.
TOPCHIRO
Our Precision Care
Upper Cervical chiropractic is different from traditional chiropractic. We focus primarily on the precise alignment of the upper neck because this area has a very heavy influence on how your body functions and how your brain communicates to the rest of your body.
Our approach is:
- Gentle – no twisting, popping, or forceful manipulation
- Specific – adjustments are based on your individual body, exam results, and your health goals
- Evidence-based – guided by our advanced assessment data gathered at your initial assessment
This allows us to offer a premium chiropractic experience that is safe, highly personalized, and focused on long-term stability and improved quality of life.
TOPCHIRO
Advanced Imaging (CBCT)
When necessary, we utilize CBCT (Cone-Beam Computed Tomography) imaging to capture highly detailed, 3D views of your neck and surrounding structures when clinically indicated. This advanced technology provides far greater clarity than traditional imaging, allowing for precise analysis and a deeper understanding of your unique spinal alignment. By using CBCT only when necessary, we are able to create highly tailored care with accuracy and intention, created to support safe, effective corrections and the best possible long-term outcomes.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is chiropractic care safe?
Yes. Chiropractic care is very safe when performed by a trained and licensed chiropractor. Before any care begins, we conduct a thorough examination to make sure this approach is appropriate and safe for you. Safety and patient well-being are always our top priorities.
What do chiropractors treat?
Chiropractic is not focused on “treating diseases” in the traditional sense. Instead, it focuses on optimizing the function of your spine and your nervous system, which allows your body to work more effectively.
Because the nervous system controls all bodily functions, many people experience improvement in neck pain, headaches, balance issues, and overall wellbeing as nervous system function improves.
How is Upper Cervical Chiropractic different from traditional chiropractic?
The main difference is focus and purpose:
- Upper Cervical Chiropractic focuses specifically on the top portion of your neck because this area has a profound influence on the rest of your body and its communication. We check your progress regularly and only adjust when your nervous system shows it is needed, rather than adjusting every visit automatically.
This means Upper Cervical care is more specific, gentle, and intentional.
How many visits will I need?
There’s no one-size-fits-all answer. The number of visits depends on:
- How you have been dealing with your issue
- Your goals and health priorities
- How you respond to care
Once we complete your initial assessment, we will create a personalized care plan so you know exactly what to expect on your journey.
Do you accept insurance?
We do not bill insurance directly in the office, but we can provide you with a detailed invoice that you can submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement. Coverage varies by plan, so we recommend checking with your provider.
Are adjustments painful?
No. Chiropractic adjustments are typically very gentle. Because they are specific and low-force, most people feel little to no discomfort during or after the adjustment. Some describe a light corrective pressure or sensation but no pain.
Will I feel the results right away?
Responses vary from person to person. Some people notice changes after the first visit, while others notice gradual improvements over time. Everyone’s nervous system goes at their own pace, and our care is designed to support that process.
Who can benefit from chiropractic care?
Chiropractic care can be beneficial for people of all ages, from children to adults, especially when the nervous system needs support due to stress, injury, or postural strain. The gentle nature of the care makes it appropriate for a wide range of individuals.
Do I need X-rays or imaging?
Sometimes yes. Imaging like CBCT (Cone-Beam CT) gives us a clear 3D picture of the upper cervical spine so we can make the most accurate and personalized plan possible. Imaging is only used when clinically indicated and helps guide safe, precise care.
Do I need a referral from a doctor?
In most cases, no referral is required to see a chiropractor. You can call and schedule an appointment directly.
